Still here :)
No full moon baby unfortunately.
But it's ok.
I'll wait.
I'll wait impatiently, but I'll wait.
2 more weeks to EDD now...
not long to go.
Spending my days lounging on the couch,
watching movies and tv,
cleaning,
doing laundry,
organising Xander baby's stuff,
baking (baked choc chip cookies last week and I love! Gonna bake more today),
and just relaxing.
Well, relaxing as much as I can la.
It's a little difficult to relax when no one position I settle into is comfortable for long,
or when I need to get up to go pee every couple of minutes.
But other than that, life's good :)
We finished up Xander baby's nursery this weekend...
Made the bed,
put up the wall border,
put up the extra curtains for more light blockage...
I love :)
 |
| The complete nursery :) |
 |
| Cheap arm chair from IKEA for feeding and soothing Xander baby, plus breastfeeding support pillow to hopefully make it easier on my arms and back |
 |
| Cot! Cute sheets with lotsa animals like hippos, elephants, tortoises, etc. Don't be fooled. Many layers of mattress pad, waterproof mattress protector etc. No bumpers and pillows because he just won't need it yet, plus it's a SIDS risk. |
 |
| Wallpaper border. It's the most we can do to liven up the room since we're in a rented property. Cute eh? |
 |
| Changing table supplies - 1 plastic container for cloth wipes, 1 for soiled cloth diapers, wash cloths, Snappis, safety pins, all sorts of butt cream (sample sizes), flushable liners for cloth nappies, tissue box, head-to-toe wash, baby oil :) |
 |
| Empty space on the wall to be filled with wallpaper animal stickers... and we're waiting for aunty chloe to come and use her relatively more refined artistic talents to do the decorating ;) |
 |
| Meantime, Xander baby can have a framed jigsaw puzzle of mummy and daddy's photos on his wall :p |
 |
| Our $60 IKEA changing table. Super good deal and handy with the bottom shelf ;) |
 |
| My cloth nappy stash - prefolds, covers, Flip system, bamboo fitteds, pocket all-in-ones :) almost everything should fit from birth to potty training. |
 |
| The complete stash with the prettier nappies |
 |
| My fave :) so darn cute! Can imagine my little guy toddling around with nothing else but these cute nappies and a tee ;) |
 |
| The old-school muslin nappies all washed and folded in the nappy stacker, hanging in the wardrobe. Probably will use these the most when at home... |
 |
| cute little clothes hanging |
 |
| Xander's clothes, nappy bag essentials, beanies, socks, mittens, wash cloths, etc in the wardrobe within easy reach |
 |
| cute little newborn clothes awaiting the little guy |
 |
| extra wash cloths, socks, booties, mittens, beanies... |
 |
| breast pump plus storage bottles, feeding bottles, etc. Speaking of which, I need to get them sterilised soon. |
 |
| ta-da! Xander baby's wardrobe ;) |
We are all set.
Now just awaiting the arrival of the nursery's occupant.
Gotta go hang out the laundry now.
Be back soon :)
