7 Months

So the kid turned 7 months last Friday.

In the past couple of weeks, he has learned that allowing himself to fall backwards while seated on the floor will hurt his head. And yes, the only way he could have learned that was to sustain a couple of bumps. That's how you learn right? Right. So now he really tries to maintain his balance and it's working ;) So far, he's sat unassisted for upwards of an hour at a time. Then he decides he has had enough and he lunges forward, and onto his belly.

We're still struggling with his sleep. Especially at night. He rolls and doesn't like it, but continues rolling. Sigh. It's a phase that has gone on for some time now, and I just hope it'll pass. That he'll just learn to sleep on his belly already.

We've finally bit the bullet and bought size 1 clothes for him. Actually just pajamas. Waiting for the next baby market to be held nearby so we can go shopping for secondhand stuff.

7 months ago, my life changed. Everything changed. And I wouldn't change it back for the world.
