8 Weeks 2 Days

So we ended up cancelling our tour of Jessie McPherson last Sunday cos I was feeling way too miserable.
We'll see when we can go again... maybe when I'm feeling better in 2 or 3 weeks.
We still have time anyway.


I've stopped eating filet-o-fish, in case anyone's wondering.
Because I started getting tummy aches and diarrheoa from it.
Haha!
Now it's a case of anything that doesn't make me wanna throw up, I will eat.
There's not much choice, but something's better than nothing right?


In terms of how baby is going, it seems the more nauseous I get, the better baby can grow.
So that's my only consolation now.
Hopefully once the 2nd trimester comes around in about 5 weeks, things will get better.
Now that I'm officially into Week 9 of this pregnancy and baby is a little more than 8 weeks old, the books say baby is starting to look more human than alien. The widget on this blog seems to agree too :)


By the end of this week, baby should be about the size of a green olive, about 2.5cm long.
And baby is no longer just an embryo, he/she is now a fetus! :)
One milestone down, a million more to go :)


I've not had the mood to take belly pics, so we shall wait till 10 weeks, which is NEXT weekend, cos mother-in-law and uncle will be here starting today, for 1 week.


All I wanna do all day, is sleep.
I'm 3 weeks behind on school work, but all I have the energy to do is sleep.
Because when I sleep, I don't feel like throwing up.
Oh if only I don't have to work....
