Tummy time :)

I love random messages and snail mail and gifts from my lovelies :)

They make my day, making me feel warm and fuzzy on a cold winter morning.
Keep them coming :)

I owe my lovely sisters, friends and cousins some acknowledgement, so I promise to find time this weekend to dish it all out.
Promise!

Last night, we were snuggled up on the couch watching downloaded episodes of Glee.
I put baby's hand on my tummy and it's officially called "tummy time" :)
Tummy time will have a completely different meaning when the little one is born and starts wriggling like a worm,
but till then, we shall share our own tummy time.
Anyway, our little one loves Glee, and baby witnessed it himself :)
For the first time since he got back,
he got to feel his kid kicking and rolling around in my tummy.
Previously he never really had any luck with it,
cos the little one will either be making small movements only, or stop once baby puts his hands on my tummy.
I loved the look on his face, and being able to share that with him is absolutely priceless.
Now, if only I can share this with my mummy, sisters, brother and all other lovely people as well.

Now back to reality,
I'm sick and so is baby.
Baby has been sick since he was back in Singapore,
and he's been sleeping at home since to try and recuperate.
Unfortunately, it's my turn now.
Sore throat, headache, cough... my voice is slowly disappearing.
I wanna just go to the pharmacy and get something to take,
but I think I need to see my GP first to figure out what I can or cannot take.

But I'm at work anyway,
because it's deadline for results submission from the lecturers and I'm in charge of coordinating them.
Educators can't seem to practice what they preach to their students.
How can you tell your students to be on time and not procrastinate and adhere to all deadlines,
when you yourself need to be prodded and pushed in the backside twice a day to meet your own deadlines?
They've had more than 2 weeks to submit their results,
but on the deadline, I'm still waiting for some of them.
Pieces of ****.
Now because of all their laziness and endless whining about their workload and how they shouldn't have to do admin stuff like calculate final results (if not you, then who might I ask?),
I can't stay at home and rest,
and have to drag my sick self and the innocent child in me to work,
just so I can sit here and wait for their submissions, and constantly send them reminder emails.

On a more positive note,
baby gender scan countdown - 14 days!
Boy or girl?
Hmmm...

baby says he can't decide whether he wants a boy or girl,
so "can we just have a few of each?"
-_-"
A FEW of each? not just a couple of each?
that comes up to what? 6 kids?
i know his mum joked about us having 6 grandkids for her once,
but erm... who will feed, clothe and educate them?
haha!
i will happily bear him 6 kids if we can support all 8 of us comfortably.
oh and if someone can invent a way to be pregnant and not have to go through all the pains, aches and discomfort of pregnancy.
oh and not to mention morning sickness.
oh and how about labour?
