More baby shopping! (and belly pics)

Today, we went out at 8am in the morning and came home with a massive loot which makes me incredibly excited and happy :)

We went to a baby and kids market held at Caulfield Racecourse, where people set up stalls to sell pre-loved baby and kids stuff like clothes and furniture and blah blah blah.
We spent about $160, and came home with a car boot full of baby stuff :)
Including a play mat/baby gym, a nappy bag with rrp of $129, a whole cot set for $15, a whole load of baby clothes including newborn pants for $1, singlets for $1 each, onesies for $2, a twin set of baby gap onesies for $2, etc... but you get the point :) ALL that for just $160. Woo hoo!
I love :)

After running off with our pre-loved baby stuff loot, we decided to stop by The Baby Gallery on the way home to look at the proper stuff like strollers, car seats, baby rocker, breastfeeding kit, etc.
Got there around 12, and by the time we walked out of there, it was about 4pm.
Haha!
We spent 4 hours playing with prams and strollers and carry cots and rockers and everything exciting.
My feet hurt like crazy now.
And I think while trying to decide on what to get, we kinda decided that we're gonna have more kids too!
Don't know how that happened, but yeah.
Guess we're not stopping at one if we can help it ;)

So, everything will cost about $1000+, but we're looking at it in the long run.
That these things will be safe, secure for our beloved kid, and any of our future children will be able to enjoy good usage of them too :)

This is the car seat we've decided on, the Babylove Conquest in charcoal grey which will be suitable from newborn to about 18-20kg.

This is the stroller we've decided on together with the infant carry cot that will fit perfectly into the stroller for when baby is still a newborn. The one we saw on display was a gorgeous gorgeous silver/white one, but so impractical that we've decided black would be better...

If I had all the money in the world, I would not hesitate and buy myself this wonderful looking Silver Cross creation:

Now, back to reality. Maclaren Baby Rocker, for when Xander is awake and I need to do my own thing like shower or make dinner, but still wanna make sure I can see him, and he can see me :)

So yes, we haven't bought any of these yet, because we wanted to come back and see if we can find any of the same stuff online for cheaper, but no luck. So we'll be going back to the store and purchasing these stuff in the next few weeks.
No way I'm gonna be going back there and spending another 4 hours looking at stuff when I'm 8 months pregnant.
Just get it over and done with, and I can sit at home and admire the things Xander will be using and occupying after he's born :)

So that's our day today.
And we're 22 weeks pregnant today.
Just 18 more weeks to go...

And to satisfy the curiosity and demand of my beloved readers, here are my belly pics :)
WARNING: bare belly exposed so close your eyes and scroll down if you don't like weird looking big bellies.

This is around 6 weeks? Not long after we found out about the pregnancy. Basically the starting point. I thought I was fat with a big belly then, but now looking back, I laugh.

This is 19 weeks, just before we went out to Little Creatures for our night out. I think I look awful in this pic, but hey, it's what I have...

This is 21 weeks, taken before I went to work. This is basically my "work uniform" now... I have only 2 maternity work pants that are comfortable enough, and I have about 7 of these Kookai long or 3/4 sleeve tops that are long enough to cover the belly. I wonder for how long though...
Husband thinks my belly looks like it doesn't belong to me. We were staring at it the other night, watching how my belly pops and moves when Xander kicks and tumbles, and he said it looks like it's been taken over by aliens. HAHA!

This is 22 weeks :) Most people would have seen me in this pretty Forever21 top since it's one of my favorites... and I didn't realise how much my body has changed until I put this on again.

Us at dinner last night, where we had Kelly, Eric and Eric's sister over for home-made hainanese chicken rice. YUMMM....

No more complains ok? I think we might take weekly pictures now.
I like watching the belly grow, knowing that that our child is growing along in there too.

I honestly have so many things I want to blog about,
but it's been busy and I've been tired.
And everytime I log onto blogger,
I just can't figure out where to start.
Sigh.
I'll get there some day :)

Before I go, I wanna make sure I don't forget this.
We saw this at the kids and baby market, and I just wanted to take it home.
It's absolutely PERFECT for Xander's room.
Except that it's $70 and we shouldn't be splurging on that.
Sigh.
Any sponsors?
It's printed on fabric and mounted on wooden frame.
Or anyone with a creative flair able to replicate it for cheaper?

Pretty isn't it?

Promise I'll be back again before the next week is out :)
