Happy Wedding Anniversary! And a tardy child.

This past weekend was not only our EDD,

but it was our 2nd wedding anniversary too.

So happy happy anniversary baby!

Although we count the July one as the main anniversary we celebrate,

it doesn't mean we can't celebrate the day we officially, in the eyes of everyone else, became husband and wife.

It was the day our life as a married couple could officially begin,

after being in wedding-planning-and-saving-limbo for 18 months after the ROM.

So it was still a special day :)

Didn't do much because we just didn't feel up to it.

Walks by the river, running errands, and the most yummiest teppanyaki dinner was how we celebrated :)

And my lovely husband bought me flowers :)))

Lovely lilies because it was our anniversary and because I was soon going to give him his first child :)

And we are at 40 weeks.

40 weeks plus 1 day actually.

Well well well.

Never thought I'd be here saying this, but I am.

We have a tardy child.

I can understand a stubborn nature inherited from mummy and daddy,

but tardiness is so far out of character for us.

So far out that we can't be tardy even when we tried.

Remember?

But this child is out to prove that one can be tardy in this family.

Oh no.

We'll see.

Maybe he just didn't wanna gate-crash our anniversary party every year.

How thoughtful.

If today is his birthday,

it would be pretty cool wouldn't it?

His birthday being 6/12 and mine being 12/6.

40 week belly pics...

Anytime now little one, whenever you're ready.

Ying Ying, my makeup artist for our wedding day and Jude's primary school friend has had her baby yesterday!

She was due this Friday, on 10 Dec, but her baby decided to come on our baby's EDD instead!

Haha!

Baby's completely adorable... so darn cute!

Kinda jealous cos I want my little one here too,

but so very very happy for her and her husband because I know they've been waiting for this eagerly for a very long time already.
