It's X'Mas Time!

I had a long long post in mind for this special X'mas blog post,

with it being Xander's first Christmas and all,

but I'm tired and Xander's stirring from his nap...

so I'll make it quick for now.

Merry Christmas to all my loved ones...

family and friends back in Singapore especially :)

This is a special special day for us here with the new baby,

but it would have been even more special if we were able to spend it with everyone we love.

But we'll make do :)

Thing is, 

it may be Christmas,

but with a brand new baby around,

it's just another day filled with feeding, pooping, peeing, crying and shushing.

He couldn't care less that the rest of the world is celebrating.

And most of the time,

neither can I.

Hard to enjoy when I've not had more than 2 hours sleep at any one stretch since the night he was born 2.5 weeks ago.

LOL...

We went for Xander's 2 week well-baby check up yesterday morning.

He does not like being man-handled.

And we decided that we don't like the "bad old lady" who "tortures" our baby at these check ups :p

Xander is growing well and doing well, so we're happy birds :)

He has gained another 400plus grams in the past 1 week and now weigh more than 4kgs.

His head circumference has also grown by about 1cm.

He has also grown 4cm since birth, measuring at 56cm now.

That's 50th percentile on the weight chart,

90th percentile on the length chart,

and about 30th percentile on the head size chart.

We have a long long baby :p

No more time for reminiscing now,

Maternity Photoshoot at 36 weeks

Xander's First Outing - we went out for lunch on X'mas eve, with 2 week old Xander baby in tow. He behaved beautifully :)
