I think my avid blog followers are pretty happy that my husband's away cos it means more updates and more soppy whiny entries to read eh? :)
The title doesn't really relate to this entry, just how I feel now.

I ordered a big arrangement of flowers to be delivered to mummy in law yesterday evening.
Big bright sunflowers and cymbidiums to hopefully welcome her back home with some cheeriness :)
It was a total surprise for both baby and his mummy, which was how I planned it.
She said she liked it and it's very nice, so I'm happy :)
On the card I addressed it with 'Cleo and Baby A',
and it occurred to me that it's the first time I'm doing that, that our family is indeed growing, and I'll be addressing gifts and cards with 'Jude, Cleo & Baby A' from now on.
No more just 'Jude & Cleo'.
Cool :)
It was a spur of the moment decision and I'm proud of myself ;)
I woke up today at around 12.40pm, by baby's SMS.
It's the best way to wake up :)
For the past 2 weeks I've always been up before him and had to wait for the right time to sms him, or for him to sms me when he gets up.
I like :)
Only reason why I woke up so late, was because I didn't sleep until after 4 last night.
Or rather, this morning.
Heh!
Let's just say I love our late-night booty calls ;)
I had just 1 interruption to my sleep at 8am this morning.
My GP called me with the results to my test for the 4-day bout of diarrhea and vomiting I suffered.
It was a bad case of food poisoning, but he assures me that it would not have affected the little one.
The little one is safe and sound.
Well, I think I can tell from the way the kid has been kicking and moving, but still, it's a relief.
At least it wasn't like toxoplasmosis (spelling?) or listeria infection. Now that would be completely scary.
He said that he was obligated to report all such cases of food poisoning to the health department, so to expect a call from them at any time.
They would wanna know where I could have possibly gotten the poisoning from, so they can follow up accordingly.
I really don't remember... it could have been anything at all.
Oh well, wait and see.
Now I'm glad I survived it all.
Baby's over-the-phone diagnosis was sound... so clever!
He wanted me to go to the A&E to get an IV drip to make sure I didn't dehydrate, but I just couldn't afford to do that with my mum and brother around.
So I just had to make sure I kept up my fluid intake, which looks like it works.
I hope that bout didn't deplete the little one's amnio fluid much.
Time to make up for it!
Ok time to get my butt down to studying.
Argh.
